With tears flowing down your cheeks and a heart full of pain many have said but, I trusted them with everything how could they leave me? How could they betray me after years of a friendship or relationship? We’ve all said it and I’m sure at one point in our lives made someone feel that way. Even Jesus was not exempt from experiencing betrayal. Remember Judas??? Not only did he know Jesus, he was in Jesus’s closest circle as one of his twelve disciples. Judas betrayed Jesus for only thirty silver coins. Although, Jesus was able to predict this impending betrayal, we unfortunately are not able to do the same.
People are not walking around with caution signs on stating “caution I’m a liar” or “caution I’m going to hurt you.” Therefore, we have to understand that putting all faith, hope and trust into “flesh” can lead to a life of disappointment. No one on this earth should be given that much power. Proverbs 3:5-6 states to “trust God will ALL of your heart…” not some but, ALL! Remember God cannot nor will he ever lie or abandon you and he’s always faithful. 💜
Imagine if we begin to trust God just as much as we trust people, our bank accounts, the stock market, horoscopes, etc?
“God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.”
