With Fathers Day approaching many are anxiously preparing to celebrate and honor this special day with their loved ones. But, there is a vast majority of those that have grown up in fatherless homes. For those lacking that very important father figure the statistics state all to well the end results of many that have been led astray due to growing up in fatherless homes.
Psalms 68:5 states that God is a father to the fatherless…So what does this mean for those seeking that father figure? God is our Heavenly Father, he created every part of our being and just like our earthly father figure/parents only wants what’s best for us.
You do not have to go thru life feeling less than good enough or as if you are missing out. Because, our Heavenly Father is NO DEADBEAT DAD!!! You can talk to him anytime, he’s always there and knows every little thing about you even down to the number of hairs on your head (Luke 12:7). When we mess up he’s always there to wrap his loving arms around us and comfort us no matter what, for the Bible states that he would never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Even if Father’s Day is just another day for you because, you have no physical father figure to celebrate with. Do not forget to send a “Happy Fathers Day” card of total gratitude and thanksgiving to your Heavenly Father and pick up the phone and call him he misses hearing from you.
Kudos to the fathers and father figures standing in the gap because, you are loved and needed.
Thank you Heavenly Father for being forever faithful, loving and infinitely good always to us even in the midst of our shortcomings he still remains the same.
💜 Sincerely your precious daughter
“A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.”
“But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.”
“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”
